Abuse of the Durable Power of Attorney

Jim Voeller, Esq. of the Voeller Law Firm

Granting a power of attorney to someone else gives them considerable power over your finances and property.  If there is abuse of this power, the victim of this abuse will often need help from government authorities or the courts to recover money, property or other assets.

James Voeller is an attorney licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas. He began his career as a member of the staff of the Minneapolis office of Ernst & Whinney. From there, James worked as an associate with the law firm of Wiese & Cox of Minneapolis before establishing The Voeller Law Firm in 1983. Throughout his career, James has helped families structure their affairs in order to eliminate the threat of government intervention into their private lives and protect their assets from lawsuits. In the process, he has helped families save millions of dollars in estate taxes and probate costs.
